Hilton Assistant Restaurant Manager - Waldorf Astoria Lusail Doha in Doha, Qatar

An Assistant Restaurant Manager will oversee the Food & Beverage operation to ensure high standards of quality and service.

What will I be doing?

  • Oversee food and beverage service to meet the standards
  • Manage the flow of customers and coordination between front and back-of-house during service.
  • Maximize sales opportunities through up-selling and training staff on effective sales techniques.
  • Ensure staff maintain brand standards and deliver exceptional levels of customer service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Accurately manage all transactions, including POS system oversight, cash handling, and billing.
  • Manage team schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Control inventory, monitor stock levels, and minimize wastage through effective resource management.
  • Lead regular training sessions to keep the team updated on service protocols and luxury standards.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement strategies for service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to team members.
