Robert Half Accounting Assistant in Doral, Florida
Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team in Doral. You must be driven, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.
Overview of duties:
Processing accounts payable and receivable, managing invoices and tax payments.
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Support monthly payroll and keep organized records.
Assist with internal and external auditing procedures.
Resolve accounts to the general ledger.
Contact clients and suppliers over phone, email or personally.
Requirements
Minimum of Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
Knowledge of relevant computer applications including MS Excel.
Accuracy and attention to details.
Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Proven organizational skills.
Ability to work well with a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
