Robert Half Data Reporting Analyst in Dorchester, Massachusetts
Description We are looking for a certified Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. You will also identify improvements to quality control plans by monitoring performance.
Your responsibilities in this role
Generate business reports that provide insight into key data points
Regularly examine data reports to identify and resolve mistakes throughout
Monitor databases for updates and maintain accuracy
Support other departments in reaching their goals through analysis
Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department
Review data to identify changes in financial and business trends
Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports Requirements - Superb critical thinking skills to make decisions and solve business problems
Knowledge of object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
Familiarity with business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
Time management and prioritization skills to meet project deadlines
Skilled in creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data tools
Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
Must be able to effectively relate data to coworkers using verbal and written communication skills
One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst
