Job Description
Title:MATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Type of Placement: TEMP TO PERM
Shift: 1st Shift - 9:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday
Pay/Pay Range: $20hr

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Transport materials, supplies and ?nished products to designated locations throughout the facility as well as being responsible for pulling all product need on the product on line
- Able to work independently with strong communication on skills. Basic math skills preferred
- Forklift certi?ed, or have experience operating a variety of lifts (Client will license candidate on their ?eet of equipment Attention to detail and a Safe Operator
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required (Minimum of 3 months of warehouse experience)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Minimum of 3 months of warehouse experience)
- SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of inventory products are loaded and picked.
- Carry or transport orders to production locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment, ensuring orders are staged in order of delivery.
- Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
- May organize items on pallet by unit.
- Maintain material handling equipment by noting and reporting any damage or malfunction and connecting battery to recharging station at the end of shift.
- Assist in maintaining the security and integrity of inventory products.
Environmental Conditions:
The work environment is fast paced and fast moving. Much of the time would be spent sitting down in a warehouse environment.
Physical Capabilities: Frequently required to perform actions stooping, bending, balancing, grasping, standing, sitting, walking, opening, removing, sorting, moving, and handling of objects up to 45lbs.
