Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description
We're seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will utilize Civil 3D to create designs of grading/earthwork, erosion control and stormwater pollution prevention plans, and pavement design. You will also prepare engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects. You may be required to visit project sites for field inspection if necessary, and will also assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and design review. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and offers long term growth potential, with the possibility to move into a Project Management position, run your own projects, and develop junior engineers.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Downers Grove, Illinois and some days remote.
Work Environment
Our office is based out of Downers Grove, housing the civil team, survey team, and environmental team. We have an open office space where each engineer has their own cubicle and dual monitor setup. While managers and partners have private offices, the environment is highly collaborative. We prefer individuals in the office, especially for training purposes, however, we operate on a hybrid schedule, typically two days at home, three days in the office. This can be tailored to suit individual schedules and needs. You will be working on a variety of projects all in different phases, including industrial (majority of work), multi-family, and K-12 higher education projects.
