Robert Half Contracts Manager in Downers Grove, Illinois
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Contract Manager in Downers Grove, Illinois. The role primarily involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements. The position is part of the legal department and will be working closely with the commercial team, other members of the legal department, and various contract stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
• Review contracts in accordance with the company's guidelines
• Utilize the company's contract management system, Agiloft, to tag contract provisions and track review status
• Collaborate with subject matter experts for contract reviews when necessary
• Work with the commercial team to address any identified areas of risk in contracts
• Resolve issues in contracts in coordination with other members of the legal department and contract stakeholders
• Operate effectively within a matrixed management environment
• Multi-task and work efficiently to meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Maintain high level of integrity supported by sound judgment and ethics
• Utilize contract management systems, like Agiloft, to manage contract-related tasks and documentation. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Contracts Manager role or similar position
• Proficient in using software tools such as 3M, Costpoint, CRM, DCAA, Deltek, and About Time
• Experience in compliance and documentation related to contract management
• Strong background in construction industry contracts is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail
• Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field is preferred
• Must have legal authorization to work in the location of the job.
