Insight Global Senior Accountant in Downers Grove, Illinois
Job Description
Coordinating month-end closing activities, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate ledger records.
Preparing documentation for external auditors, assisting with audit preparations, and ensuring compliance with financial controls.
Managing account and banking reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Posting journal entries, adjusting entries, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
1-5 years of experience in a Staff or Senior Accountant role
Strong understanding of financials and day-to-day financial operations
Experience with financial controls (SOX, external audit)
Experience with journal entries and month end close processes
Experience with and understanding of account & banking reconciliations
Banking operations knowledge
Experience with Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) Bilingual in Spanish
Insurance industry experience
Experience with Workday
Experience with Blackline null
