About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for the Butler to join luxury Beit Al Bahar villas at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The main purpose

  • Responsible for delivering luxurious and personalized services to the guests in line with Jumeirah standards thus creating a delightful and memorable experience throughout their stay.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Greet and Escort guests to their room, handle guests’ luggage and other baggage, ensure cleanliness of rooms and suites, handle guest enquiries and special request deliveries, recommend and arrange amenities for the guests, run errands as necessary.

  • Anticipate customer needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services, or information.

  • Take and process orders accurately and maintain good knowledge of menu items, food & beverage services to answer guests inquires thoroughly.

  • Carries out guest registration, cashiering and other administrative tasks as per service standards and directions, maintaining seamless interaction with guests to facilitate guest recognition.

  • Recognize customer dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve the situation according to individual level of responsibility and complaint procedures. Inform the manager’s as necessary.

  • Maintain operation and cleanliness of the Butler Pantry & the Reception Desk. Ensure each area is correctly stocked on their respective floor and operational according to set service standards.

  • Maintain an organized and professional atmosphere. Prepare and set tables and/or trays according to property standard SOPs, Outlet Requirements and as per meal period and guest’s requirements.

  • Serve and clear food & drinks efficiently & punctually in line with our service standards.

  • Maintain an elevated level of personal appearance and hygiene throughout in line with Jumeirah grooming standards, report for duty on time wearing correct uniform, provide courteous and professional service to Jumeirah guest and internal customers.

  • Comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that Jumeirah Group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.

  • Adhere to all HACCP standards in line with local regulatory requirements.

  • Adhere to all hotel and company standards, Business conduct and ethics, policies and procedures including Health & Safety policies, Butler’s Grooming standards, punctuality/ attendance procedures and Quality standards.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience within the international luxury hospitality industry.

  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

  • Ability to manage and maintain relationships with guests while maintaining a professional distance.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Proficient in English.

  • Knowledge of additional language (Desired).
