Job Purpose

The job holder is responsible to lead Business Development activities including business planning, financial modelling and market research that drive the business towards sustainable growth and profitability in line with the vision, mission and strategic objectives of the company.

Key Accountabilities

  • Create project business plans and seek approvals to proceed with launch / award, etc in-order to support the approved business plan and the roll-out / launch strategy for company assets.

  • Conduct feasibility studies for masterplan / project level for new projects at pre-concept and / or concept stage to support stakeholder decision making.

  • Prepare pricing of Company inventory for sale; manage the inventory systems and report inventory performance metrics to comply with the Company business plan.

  • Lead and implement Business Development process automation or policy optimization / analysis tools / commercial initiatives that improve the day-to-day efficiency and analytical performance of the department.

  • Provide financial oversight in the development of new projects by preparing bespoke financial and business models from market intelligence data and stakeholder feedback to deliver growth and profitability to the company.

  • Lead the relevant Delegation of Authority approval process for business plans; ensure timely submissions in-order to meet internal deadlines and support the roll-out schedule.

  • Work closely with senior team members to provide the management with an informed view of the project, its design / development rationale, financial and profitability metrics, market positioning and identify any risks involved / suggest appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Prepare reports for management providing valuable insights to facilitate informed decision-making.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients / customers by proactively addressing requirements ensuring satisfaction.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in market dynamics, and competitive landscape relevant to the organization.

Qualifications, Experiences, Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance / Economics or relevant technical fields; Master’s degree -preferred.

  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) - preferred

  • Professional knowledge in business analysis, financial modeling, market analysis for a real-estate

Minimum Experience (number of years):

  • Min. 6-8 years’ experience in the business development/development function with at least 2 years in a managerial role with developer/ consultant side.

  • Practical experience in major real estate projects in the MENA/GCC region

Job Specific Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Financial modeling software, valuation tools, and spreadsheet applications for creating cash flow projections and investment scenarios.

• Real estate financing, including debt and equity structures, is highly desirable.
