Job Purpose :

The role of a Maintenance Technician is to be professional, proactive, well groomed, responsible and vigilant always when working with the tools and equipment on the Green Planet.

• This position is responsible to maintain the water quality along with maintaining all the equipment, facilities, utilities, plants, pumps, filtration system and pipelines are operational with zero breakdown and achieve the maximum uptime of equipment, strictly following the preventive maintenance plan, schedule and corrective maintenance.

• To perform the job with highest safety throughout the daily operations

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain the Utilities, facilities equipment in the Green Planet.

• Perform the scheduled preventive maintenance of equipment effectively with correct use of engineering tools and personal protective equipment and maintain the records.

• Perform tasks involved in the upkeep of the building structures, installation, maintaining and repairing of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems on all Filtration system, pumps, pipelines, utilities and facilities.

• Perform the water testing of Life support systems with advance knowledge on maintaining the water chemistry always in acceptable range.

• Perform the valve adjustment to maintain the water level in the balance tank and storage of water in tank for emergency in case of supply cut off, cleaning of filters and strainers, backwash, prepare inventory and always maintain stock in optimal level.

• Keep all necessary critical spares to optimum level and maintenance the logbook of receive/issue spares.

• Drive initiatives on energy saving through studying the energy consumption trends and retrofit for energy efficient technology.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and services. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, troubleshoot and adjust whenever required.

• Keep all the logbooks updated and maintain strong communication skills.

• Maintain the documentation of equipment like history card, breakdown memo and so on.

• Understand and follow all the Green Planet Standard Operating Procedures, and Emergency Action Plans.

• Responsible for the cleanliness of the work areas and proper disposal of damaged grease and lubricants. Maintain 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) in the workplace.

• Report any safety concerns to management.
