Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our innovative design studio, you will lead and contribute to a wide range of high-profile landscape architecture projects in the region.
Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the creation of conceptual designs, construction drawings, and specifications for diverse landscape projects
Manage project teams and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Conduct site assessments and analyze environmental conditions to inform design decisions
Create sustainable and culturally appropriate landscape designs that thrive in Dubai's hot climate
Prepare detailed planting plans, irrigation designs, and material specifications
Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality control measures
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the landscape architecture practice
Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations
Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and local regulations to ensure innovative and compliant designs
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on projects in urban environments
Valid landscape architect license; local certification is a plus
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software
Strong knowledge of plant species suitable for arid climates and sustainable irrigation practices
Experience in developing technical proposals, cost estimates, and managing projects
Familiarity with local environmental regulations and sustainable design practices in the UAE
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly
