IBM Technology Program Management Intern in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an ambitious technology graduate to join us as an intern with an interest in technology sales.

We offer the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural organization, as part of the Middle East and Africa team along with great colleagues and opportunities to learn in an international company.

The intern will support the team on UAE strategy/business development in the following areas for 6 months:

  1. Research:

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges aligned to the Country Transformation Strategy

Develop marketing materials, such as presentations (PowerPoint), and case studies, to communicate research findings to internal and external stakeholders.

  1. Program management:

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, public relations, to ensure alignment and effective delivery of program initiatives.

Develop and manage project plans (Excel), timelines, and budgets to ensure successful program execution.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with program delivery, and develop contingency plans to address any issues that arise.

  1. Interfacing with UAE Government:

Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders, including the UAE Ministry of AI, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

Coordinate with government agencies to facilitate the workstreams for each IBM transformation engagement

Provide regular updates and insights to IBM's leadership team on government initiatives and policies that may impact IBM's business in the UAE.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Graduate or student enrolled in a higher degree qualification in IT

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to absorb professional knowledge and develop skills quickly.

  • Strong sense of responsibility towards work, and a team player.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good time management and organizational skills.
