Meta Business Performance Specialist - Community, Regulatory, and Legal Specialized Enforcement Ops in Dublin, Ireland

Summary:

Meta’s Global Operations team exists to help them. Within Global Response Operations, our Community, Regulatory, & Legal Specialized Enforcement Operations team is focused on protecting voice and reducing bad experiences for our users, regulators, business, and advertisers through the enforcement of Meta’s policies. We collaborate with teams from across Meta to resolve highly sensitive and complex cases. We are currently hiring for an experienced individual with a demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, and build strategic relationships across functional boundaries and/or globally to create and drive effective strategy. You will be part of a data-driven analysis culture and will also help scale our operations by optimizing and automating processes, solving problems and, most importantly, helping to prevent them. This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material. I.e., child exploitation, graphic violence, animal abuse, self-injury and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing. This position is full time and based in Dublin .

Business Performance Specialist - Community, Regulatory, and Legal Specialized Enforcement Ops Responsibilities:

  1. Help shape team vision and goals and work across the global team on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results

  2. Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development

  3. Utilize strategic tools, systems, and data to help the team analyze trends and deliver insights to define goals and improve processes

  4. Build strategic relationships with global and cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate risks to the company, develop global solutions across operations and policy

  5. Interpret and enforce Meta’s terms of service (Community Standards, Advertiser & Commerce Policies, Intellectual Property, Regulations (incl. content that may be graphic and objectionable)

  6. Respond to escalated cases from users, regulators, and business/advertiser partners with high quality, accuracy, and speed

  7. Remain up-to-date on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, policy updates and Community Standards

  8. Anticipate the societal effects of different forms of online speech and behavior, and test hypotheses and assumptions about online activity in an operations setting

  9. Develop and design processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness and ensure essential success metrics are met

  10. Mentor others in accomplishing the above with a high level of quality, as well as providing broad leadership to peers in executing multiple projects

  11. Please note that some weekend work and/or after hours work may be required on a shift basis

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of experience in Operations, Integrity, Trust & Safety, Escalations Management, Program/Project Management, Business Strategy, Consulting or similar

  2. Experience of consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate

  3. Experience managing time-sensitive projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a diverse range of stakeholders

  4. Demonstrated experience in influencing without authority and leading complex initiatives across a complex cross-functional group

  5. Analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience

  6. Highly organized and proactive

  7. Understanding of the power of social media for business and our global community and the issues that are inherent to it

  8. Experience distilling complex information into compelling visuals and communications that are understood at multiple levels

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with graphic and objectionable content

  2. Advanced degree in business, Six Sigma Blackbelt and PMP Certification, operations, policy, information systems, journalism, legal, Government entities or equivalent experience

  3. Experience in working on Tableau, Salesforce, Six Sigma methodology and Gen AI tools
