Manager, Finance Business Partnering

The finance business partnering (“FBP”) group provides financial and consulting services designed to add value, direction and leadership to the business. The team plays an integral part in enabling ICON to accomplish its objectives by bringing a best in class approach to evaluating its finances and strategy.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Develop, prepare and maintain monthly financial forecasts including budget reconciliations and supporting analysis for the business unit.

  • Analyze business unit financial results and key performance indicators including the preparation of monthly & quarterly reporting packages and commentary.

  • Work with Ops leader and their SLT to develop and build annual budgets.

  • Make recommendations to business unit management for optimizing financial performance and achieving financial targets.

  • Present business case studies to senior leadership in support of capital expenditures.

  • Present monthly forecast and business unit metrics to senior leadership team.

  • Align with Commercial Affairs in support of material pricings and partnership opportunities.

  • Finance lead for ad hoc project work in business unit.

  • Relevant experience in a finance setting (possibly client facing or business partnering)

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or local equivalent, in related field or equivalent experience.

  • Strong financial analysis and problem solving skills.

  • An ability to distill and summarize large, complex data sets.

  • Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with and influence a variety of personnel across the organization including senior management.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS office package, in particular Excel & PowerPoint

  • Experience using Oracle ERP/ Hyperion / Essbase an advantage
