We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join Microsoft Editor team with a growth mindset, high integrity, and effective collaboration skills. Successful candidates will have technical program management experience in:
Working with applied scientists on generative AI and/or NLP
Leading complex or large-scale projects with cross-functional and geo-distributed teams
Setting program strategy, roadmaps, delivery time and method
Managing delivery, execution, and release processes
Solving technical and architectural challenges, key dependencies and requirements
Collaborating with stakeholders across organizations and roles
Driving RoB and reporting process
Diving deep into products to understand and address issues and deliver outcomes
Responsibilities
Voice of the customer - Define user centric OKRs, guiding the technical investment with business goals and customer needs.
Cross org alignment - Work with immediate team, stakeholders, and teams across organizations, roles, and geographies to align on shared goals and OKRs.
Backlog, dependencies, and requirements - In collaboration with product management and engineering, maintaining prioritized backlog and driving accountability of cross team dependencies and requirements
Roadmap and delivery - Drive overall program and project roadmap, schedule, release, and adjustments.
Rhythm of business and reporting process - Consolidate, contribute, and review all relevant data views and updates for the various reporting forums (updates, deep dives, business, and service reviews).
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in technical program management or in related / similar roles, with deep understanding in AI, NLP.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, or related technical discipline.
Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including articulating complex issues and solutions.
Experience across the complete product cycle, from initial design to execution and release process, to post-release support and iterations.
Strong project, stakeholder, and partner management with experience in working with large-scale, cross-functional, geo-distributed teams
