Do you want to help define the future of Go to Market (GTM) at AWS using generative AI? In this role, you will help our customers use the power of Generative AI (GenAI) to transform the way software is designed, developed, tested, deployed, and managed. You will engage with product owners to influence product direction and help our customers tap into new markets by utilizing appropriate GenAI-powered AWS Services. You will work with broader AWS Field organization to ensure that they understand the value proposition of the services that you are responsible for and are able to assist our customers in maximizing the value they derive from these services. You will manage a team of talented individuals whose mission will be to transform the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the way individuals interact with technology.

Key job responsibilities

You will help develop the industry’s best cloud-based solutions to grow the GenAI business. Working closely with our engineering teams, you will help enable new capabilities for our customers to transform their SDLC with the help of AWS GenAI and other services.

You will facilitate the enablement of AWS technical community, sales, and solution architects with specific customer centric value proposition and demos about end-to-end GenAI on AWS cloud.

You will possess a business and technical background that enables you to drive an engagement and interact at the highest levels with startups, Enterprises, and AWS partners. You will have the technical depth and business experience to easily articulate the potential and challenges of GenAI models and applications to engineering teams and C-Level executives. This requires deep familiarity across the stack – compute infrastructure, GenAI concepts and related services, developer-focused services and DevOps best practices, best practices for building complex GenAI systems, as well as target use cases in the cloud.

You will drive the development of the GTM plan for driving the adoption GenAI-powered developer productivity tools on AWS, interact with customers directly to understand their business problems, and help them with defining and implementing scalable GenAI solutions to solve them (often via proof-of-concepts). You will also work closely with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to drive model implementations and new solutions.

You should be passionate about helping companies/partners understand best practices for operating on AWS. An ideal candidate will be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS such as product teams, solutions architecture, sales, marketing, business development, and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management.

You will also look for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or a set of customers that can help accelerate innovation.

The Q Developer SA team focuses on two main objectives:

  1. Transforming the entire SDLC with the help of AWS GenAI-powered services.

  2. Transforming the way individuals interact with AWS technology with the help of GenAI.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent

  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

  • Experience managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles

  • Hands-on experience with development tools.

  • Ability to code in one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C#, C/C++, Python.

  • Deep understanding of the entire software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

  • 10+ years of pre-sales engineering, technical business development, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or program/product management experience.

  • Thorough understanding of AI/ML technology stack.

  • Hands-on experience with creating, shipping, and maintaining software.

  • Good communication skills, business, and financial acumen.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key.
