Amazon Technical Program Manager, ECDO- Existing data center operations in Dublin, Ireland

AWS has an immediate opening for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support our European Data Center infrastructure growth initiatives. Based out of our Dublin offices, the TPM will lead cross functional teams to drive the implementation and deployment of data center expansion projects to meet the demands of our rapidly growing business

You will work comfortably with stakeholders from multiple teams, align priorities and ensure all stakeholders work towards and deliver key milestones necessary for delivering data center capacity for our customers at the right time and cost. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial and very busy environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or multiple priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

You will possess experience managing complex and large-scale infrastructure projects. A Bachelor's degree is required as is a demonstrated ability to engage with engineers and subject matter experts in a technical environment. A talent for successfully delivering programs while effectively managing large capital budgets is essential.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage complex and large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts in a technical environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in technical product or program management

  • Experience in software development

  • Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with engineering teams
