Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Dublin, Ohio

Description We are offering a contract role for an Accounting Clerk based in Dublin, Ohio. This role primarily involves managing credit-related tasks within the telecom industry. The primary responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk will revolve around accounts reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of customer credit applications efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments.

• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy in accounts.

• Manage both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) efficiently.

• Oversee billing processes and ensure timely issuance of invoices.

• Perform data entry tasks related to accounting and finance.

• Handle invoice processing tasks and ensure accuracy.

• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficient in account reconciliation processes and techniques

• Experienced in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Demonstrable skills in billing procedures

• Capable of performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Familiar with invoice processing and related tasks

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions

• Experience with SAP software in an accounting context

• Able to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced business environment

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

• High level of integrity, dependability, and trustworthiness.
