Cardinal Health Product Owner, Clinical Cross-Referencing Technical Solutions in Dublin, Ohio

Ideal candidates will be hybrid, based out of the Dublin, OH, office.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic solution product owner to lead and optimize our medical product cross-referencing processes through automation and advanced technical solutions. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for understanding the business nuances, identifying pain points, and implementing solutions that drive efficiency and accessibility across the organization. Your technical skills in SQL, AI, and data visualization will be essential as you develop intuitive data outputs to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Automation & Optimization: Assess and enhance the current technical landscape for medical product cross-referencing solution and tools. Develop and implement sustainable automation solutions using SQL, AI, and other technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility.

  • Data Output: Design and deliver intuitive, user-friendly data outputs in the form of automated Excel files and other reporting mechanisms, enabling clear and actionable insights for stakeholders.

  • Business Understanding & Pain Point Identification: Work closely with business units to understand the nuances of the medical product cross-referencing domain, identify pain points, and tailor technical solutions to address these challenges.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for business stakeholders. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment on objectives and solutions.

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead a direct report (Consultant) and manage an offshore support team in India. Oversee maintenance activities and ensure continuous support for the automation tools and data systems. Effective delegation is a must.

  • Innovation & Accessibility Expansion: Explore and implement ways to broaden access to automation solutions across the organization. Drive initiatives that make these tools more widely available and sustainable over the long term.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in data management, automation, or a similar technical role preferred

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with AI-driven automation tools.

  • Data visualization skills in Excel and Tableau (or other data visualization platforms) preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing and implementing technical solutions that address business needs.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience managing both direct reports and offshore support teams is a plus.

  • Familiarity with the healthcare or medical products industry is advantageous.

Location/Travel

  • Hybrid role with flexibility for remote work; some on-site presence may be required depending on project needs.

  • Occasional travel may be required for team coordination and stakeholder meetings.

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 - $155,295

** The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
