WENDY'S INTERNATIONAL, LLC Sr. Manager – Data Engineering and Visualizations in Dublin, Ohio
Sr. Manager -- Data Engineering and Visualizations positions offered by Wendy's International LLC (Dublin, Ohio). Manage the product roadmap for all products supporting the restaurant operations teams, non-traditional concept development team, and payment technology. Drive an MVP mindset with business partners, deriving maximum value from minimum effort in product development. Communicate and evangelize these solutions to a variety of levels and audiences (internal and external). Effectively manage assigned projects and teams to deliver intended results. Oversee and manage requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing by product and solution managers within the restaurant solutions team. Set priorities and approve cost benefit analyses for assigned technology projects. Create the appropriate project team structure, leveraging vendor partnerships and ensuring regular updates and decisioning are being brought forth to the appropriate sponsors from the restaurant solutions team leads. Define when project or product launches are customer-ready in partnership with the stakeholders in restaurant operations and treasury. Incorporate user feedback into continuous improvement cycles, iterating and ensuring "no regrets" releases.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience implementing IT technologies and developing strategies. In lieu of a bachelor's degree in the aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated, the employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience. Requires 2 years of experience working with enterprise solutions. Also requires 2 years of experience: managing external development and operations teams; explaining technology solutions in business terms including communicating with officers and executive leadership; and developing talent and organization growth. Employee reports to office in Dublin, OH, but may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
