Works with a dynamic team of dietitians and medical providers to provide optimal care to patients in the acute care setting. Practicing at the high end of the Registered Dietitian's Scope of Practice, performs nutrition education, malnutrition assessments, and nutrition support assessments. Creates nutrition care plans, provides support to patients with wound issues and so much more! Education Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in food, nutrition, or dietetics.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Registered or registry-eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS Credential).
East Market (additionally needs to add):
Upon completion of 90 days of employment must be able to pass the competency test related to nutrition order writing privileges.
Must be eligible to be licensed with the State of Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice.
