The Treasury team provides wide-ranging support for the organization including cash positioning, cash forecasting, liquidity management, bank relationship management, capital markets activity, debt covenant compliance, and internal and external reporting. The Senior Treasury Analyst supports the Senior Treasury Manager in overseeing the International region, covering such treasury activities as cash, banking, liquidity, and financial risks.
The role will offer the exciting opportunity to participate in multiple aspects of Treasury while being a part of a company that is singularly focused on improving the lives of people living with diabetes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Support regional treasury operations including bank management, cash positioning, forecasting and disbursements
Review, implement and support liquidity optimization solutions in region
Manage excess cash position and investment portfolio
Evaluate the business cash flows and drive regional cash forecasting activities
Support the execution of FX transactions
Assist in identifying FX exposures throughout the group, recommending hedging strategies and managing the hedge portfolio
Support the execution of inter-company transactions
Coordinate contacts between auditors and/or accountants in the region
Identify improvement opportunities to optimize treasury processes and increase internal controls
Assist US Corporate Treasury with special projects and implementing treasury controls
Conduct periodic bank fee review and analysis
Administer online banking systems and assist with KYC procedures
Provide support for international commercial insurance needs
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Knowledge of Treasury operations, liquidity and FX management
Experience in cash forecasting
Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, research, analysis and problem-solving skills
Appetite in taking the initiative to further develop the regional treasury structure
Operates with a high degree of independence and autonomy; demonstrated by strong planning, organizational, time management, negotiating, and analytical skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
Education and/or Work Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
3+ years Treasury management experience preferred.
