St. Catherine of Sienna parish in Duncansville under the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown has an opening for a part-time administrative assistant with a work schedule of 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors and answering phone calls
  • Creating and distributing parish communications
  • Implementing all accounting functions of the parish office
  • Supporting parish councils and committees

Qualifications:

  • Supportive of the mission of the Catholic Church
  • Able to satisfactorily complete background checks and training
  • Associate degree in business and two years of related experience or five years of office experience
  • Working knowledge of electronic accounting and payroll processes
