Intake Specialist Position Details:
Facility: Mease Dunedin
Location: Dunedin, FL
Status: Full time, Hourly
Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: No
Intake Specialist Responsibilities:
Provide emergency psychiatric evaluations for all persons of all ages in the Hospital's Emergency Center.
Handle all requests for all psychiatric services from other agencies, individuals or other departments.
Maintain statistics related to Intake Services.
Provide clinical reviews for managed care organizations when not involved with E.C. responsibilities.
Provide basic psychiatric care to adult and geriatric patients on Inpatient psychiatric units.
Required Certification/Licensures:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Required Education:
High School or Equivalent
Preferred - Bachelors - Related Field; Preferred - Bachelors - Psychology
Required Experience:
- 1 year – Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field in lieu of experience
