Job Title: ACH & Wire Transfer Analyst

Salary : $70,000

Schedule : Onsite role in Durham, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Summary : The ACH & Wire Transfer Analyst oversees the day-to-day operations of the Payment Services team, which includes managing ACH, and Checking transactions, as well as Bill Pay and RDC supporting the Online and Mobile banking platform. This role serves as a subject matter expert on all payment-related services, including initiatives and projects related to these operations. The ACH & Wire Transfer Analyst will possess extensive knowledge of the Payments Industry, including mobile payment systems, the Visa Network, ACH, and the Federal Reserve.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the foremost authority for the Payments and related areas of the Credit Union.

• Oversee both the daily operations of card services department staff and functions, support member usage of all credit union E-services products and services.

• Manage overseeing ACH processing, wire transfers, P2P, online bill pay, mobile deposits.

• Evaluate the Credit Union's card program and performance, providing enhanced effectiveness and efficiency recommendations.

• Develop, implement, and maintain Payment Services (ACH, Wire, RDC, Bill Pay) departmental policies and procedures, including policy creation, editing, and modification.

• Responsible for vendor accountability relating to service levels and security; establishes and recommends fee structures for all electronic products, ensuring they meet the Credit Union's objectives and policies.

• Manage team that will handle the disputes and resolution process, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while optimizing member experience.

• Manage all payment services and delivery processes to enhance member experience and maximize organizational resources.

• Monitor productivity, income, and profitability of all payment-related programs.

• Collaborate with Risk and Compliance to establish a comprehensive Payments compliance oversight program, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Maintain awareness of and adherence to LCCU policies and procedures and regulations such as Reg D, Reg E, Reg Z, Bank Secrecy Act, Federal Reserve, ACH, and other relevant requirements.

• Monitor daily processing to ensure timely completion, goal achievement, and regulation compliance.

• Collaborate with Retail Services, Operations, and the Virtual Center to address escalated payment, card, and online banking issues (Bill Pay, RDC, Wires).

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; at least five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience working with complex financial institutions.

• Highly proficient in using business software applications including, but not limited to, MS Office and applications similar to Fedline Advantage, WITS Pathfinder, P2P applications, Paymentus, and core banking applications (Symitar preferred).

• Experience with ACH processing, wire transfers, and dispute processing.

• Deep experience in online payments including wallets, Buy Now Pay Later, merchant acquiring & processing highly desired.

• Must possess strong technical, mathematical, organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills and be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience in working cross-divisionally and collaboratively with all areas of the business.

• Must be able to focus on details, correlate various pieces of information, identify trends, and/or understand the reasons behind challenges and successes.

• Ability to think strategically and connect the dots to the bigger picture while still comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
