Director, Portfolio Marketing – Patient Support & CSO

Overview

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans that support the solutions and services that fall within the U.S. Contract Sales and Medical Solutions, Patient Support Services and MedTech business Center of Excellence at IQVIA.

Specifically this role will collaborate closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand market and competitive dynamics, customer landscape and target audience, and client business issues and needs. The candidate will use the analysis and other insights to develop and implement strategic marketing plans that include business objectives, marketing strategies, value propositions, a persona messaging framework and a campaign calendar.

Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain a consistent persona messaging platform that clearly articulates the positioning of our Contract Sales and Medical Solutions & Patient Support Services businesses, the key differentiators, value proposition, and how individual personas benefit within the life sciences industry.

  • Lead the marketing plan process including a market analysis, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, audience analysis, key message development with differentiated positioning and value propositions.

  • Build and maintain a consistent persona messaging platform that clearly articulates the positioning of our solutions, the key differentiators, value proposition, and how individual personas benefit within the life sciences industry.

  • Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns that translate the marketing objectives and strategies into successful tactics aimed at increasing awareness, providing lead generation and driving customer engagement as well as supporting the overall corporate repositioning strategy.

  • Coordinate with other colleagues within the U.S. Marketing team to incorporate best practices and leverage capabilities to drive efficiencies in campaign development, execution and measurement.

  • Responsible for scanning the market and leveraging new and innovative technologies that help to build impactful, integrated marketing campaigns using web, digital, email, search, social media, PR and traditional print advertising to improve client responsiveness and engagement. Develop a mechanism to regularly validate and maintain an accurate contact database.

  • Create and execute successful content marketing and Thought Leadership strategies that support key initiatives within the business unit.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective sales support materials including capabilities presentations, sell sheets, case studies, white papers and webinar content. Work with marketing operations and outside agency partners to ensure the highest level of professionalism and adherence to brand guidelines in the creation of all collateral materials and conference graphics.

  • Implement rigorous metrics around all campaign results to ensure strategies and tactics are well aligned and executed to maximize results and report to senior leaders monthly and/or quarterly. Course correct where necessary and make recommendations for improvements during the next planning cycle. Provide ideas and new methods that constantly strive to improve the marketing ROI process.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining marketing expense budgets, taking control to ensure budgets stay on track, providing corrective action when and where necessary.

  • Collaborate with other marketers to further the company repositioning efforts, build a positive company image and help create and maintain a motivated high performance marketing team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications and a minimum of 10 years experience in developing successful strategic marketing plans driving business growth.

  • Successful track record in developing innovative marketing campaigns and tactics to grow early stage and late stage businesses.

  • Prior experience in healthcare marketing with an understanding of pharma commercial functions (commercial/sales operations, marketing, brand management, managed markets) highly desirable.

  • Experience in technology B2B marketing also highly desirable.

  • Strong digital marketing experience with the ability to track and report ROI

  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand and write about complex ideas and solutions.

  • Ability to build solid cross-functional relationships and work with all levels within an organization.

  • Self starter with a “take charge” attitude and the ability to work with minimal direction.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment with a certain level of ambiguity.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

  • Innovative thinker with a desire for continuous learning.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $133,800.00 - $273,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
