Here’s the Gist:

The Corporate EHS Engineer is directly responsible ensuring compliance with all national, state, and local regulatory requirements related to waste.  This position works closely with sites, internal business partners and regulatory agencies in a fast-paced environment to find effective and efficient solutions to waste management.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Develop global standards for corporation to establish minimum requirements for waste compliance, including TSDF selection.
  • Establish standardized data collection, metrics, and reporting procedures throughout corporation for hazardous waste and solid waste.
  • Work with internal business partners and site EHS Engineers to align waste programs across all sites.
  • Partner with sites and site engineers to minimize waste generation and work towards waste to landfill goals.
  • Perform routine site audits for waste compliance.
  • Support ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and sustainability programs.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • BS degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent
  • 10 - 12 years of experience performing environmental work related to waste programs and compliance at complex manufacturing facility(ies).
  • Ability to effectively interpret national, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TEAMS. 
  • Proficiency in Access is a plus.
