Here’s the Gist:
As a GSOC Specialist, you will have an opportunity to play a crucial role in our department’s mission to protect people, property and information by providing excellent customer service and supporting essential security functions as well as assessing, coordinating, and overseeing emergency response efforts during security or emergency incidents on site.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
Maintain visibility of emergency conditions while using established procedures and critical thinking to provide solutions
Monitor cameras, access control and facility alarms, as well as conduct internal CCTV investigations as needed
Maintain various records of communications and events
Respond to and dispatch for life-safety incidents
Process customer requests related to Security and Emergency Management operations
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time and task management skills, and high level of attention to detail
Aptitude for learning and applying new skills
Strong decision-making skills within a fast-paced environment
Strong computer skills with knowledge of CAD, Life Safety, Alarm, and Access Control Systems
Strong customer service skills
Experience working with badging and access control software
