RHO Talent Acquisition Specialist in Durham, North Carolina

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in attracting, identifying and hiring the best and brightest talent in the CRO/pharmaceuticals industry. The selected candidate will be results-oriented and will work directly with other team members and key personnel on all aspects of talent acquisition, with a dedicated focus on sourcing candidates to ensure open positions are being filled in a timely manner.

  • Proactively source candidates using a variety of resources

  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling and follow-up with both candidates and internal stakeholders

  • Continually conduct outreach efforts to build a pipeline of talented individuals

  • Assist with employment brand initiatives via social media, attending industry conferences and career fairs, and networking with industry associations

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, which exhibits Rho’s core values, including communication, scheduling and assessments

  • Act as a Rho employment brand ambassador at all times

  • Develop and maintain reporting metrics for recruiting initiatives, as needed

  • Ensure all hiring and recruiting efforts are compliant with Rho’s policies and procedures

  • Build relationships with internal hiring leaders to fully understand their needs

  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) to efficiently process and track candidates

  • Support on-boarding and orientation activities to ensure a successful new employee experience

  • Support recruiting projects and initiatives

  • Work collaboratively with other HR Professionals

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years’ experience with full life-cycle recruiting; experience with a contract research organization, pharmaceutical company or in life sciences is preferred

  • Demonstrated success with sourcing candidates

  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system and well versed in OFFCP and US employment laws

  • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and work collaboratively at all levels

  • Ability to successfully develop a pipeline of qualified applicants

  • Previous experience utilizing data metrics to drive recruiting programs is preferred

  • Ability to manage competing priorities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and a customer service approach to daily responsibilities

  • Ability to travel as needed

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software; experience with iCIMS is preferred
