Emerson Plant Manager in Eagle Farm, Australia

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Oversee the service operation, working closely with the planning team to meet the customer’s needs and ensuring this is consistent with organizational goals and strategies.

  • Provide leadership to the Wangara Operations, ensuring best operational practice and adherence to routines and processes as required by the business.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of common policies and procedures, demonstrating common tools, and handling global best practices for Lifecycle Services.

  • Ensure the Quality Standards of both our clients and the Company are aligned.

  • Develop and implement the local service strategies through a partnership with both the Sales and Service Operations

  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting to local Asia Pacific ISV leadership teams.

  • Ensure effective site resource planning and staff development to meet efficiency requirements.

  • Partner with the Strategic Supply Chain team to develop a low-risk and low-cost supply network to improve cost position for sustained profitability.

  • Ensure all corporate Trade Compliance policies and procedures are followed and met.

  • Communicate regularly with factory employees regarding business conditions and company focus.

  • Manage operating revenue and profitability forecasting ensuring that commitments made are achieved, and drive gross profit improvements across all site manufacturing and service center activities.

  • Handle inventory to support “quick” OEM service opportunities, while managing stock turns and business investment.

  • Supervise safety performance of work activities and report proactive improvements and best practices locally and to ISV Global standards.

  • Lead with an appropriate level of authority, applying influence and ensuring respect, demonstrated active listening, and empathy are incorporated to build an environment where the team is motivated and feel inspired to do their best work.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Tertiary or trade qualified in an engineering or field.

  • Sales experience and skills (negotiation, influence, formal, presentation, closure, etc.)

  • Experience within manufacturing, including exposure to engineering, sales, marketing, warehousing, and distribution.

  • Experience in leading and developing teams.
