The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) in East Meadow, New York
Fulton Commons Care Center is seeking a Full-Time COTA!
COTA Duties Include :
Collaborating with OTs to establish rehabilitation plans.
Following guidance of OTR/L in therapy activities to fit resident needs & capabilities.
Assisting/supervising residents in carrying out daily activities.
Monitoring performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement.
Teaching residents how to use equipment to assist with daily function.
Reporting residnet progress to the OTR/L.
Responsibly and accurately documenting treatments and outcomes in rehab software.
Requirements Include :
Graduate of an accredited OTA Program.
Current New York State OTA License.
Experience in long-term care a plus!
