Aerotek Industrial Cleaner Lead in East St. Louis, Illinois
Aerotek Facility Maintenance is sourcing a Lead Industrial Cleaner for a partner headquartered in the greater St. Louis metro area. This is a full-time permanent career opportunity. The Lead Industrial Cleaner is responsible for supervising and performing industrial cleaning services (vacuuming, hydro-blasting, chemical cleaning, deslagging, etc.) within client sites in the region (foundries, power plants, refineries, processing facilities).
Job description:
First shift with opportunity for overtime. Possibility for emergency on-call services.
Lead and assist team of 3-9 technicians
Drive company vehicles and equipment to client-sites (tractor trailers, vacuum trucks, tankers, etc.)
Operate industrial cleaning equipment
Perform hydro-blasting, deslagging, industrial vacuuming, chemical cleaning etc.
Maintain and troubleshoot cleaning equipment and machinery
Ensure cleaning operations are performed safely and efficiently
Coordinate with client contacts as needed
Requirements:
Must have CDL Type A license
Prior industrial cleaning experience strongly preferred
Prior leadership, supervision or management experience strongly preferred
Prior industrial maintenance experience (mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical) strongly preferred
Ability to work in non climate controlled environments
Experience handling and proper storage/disposal of hazardous materials
Ability to use PPE such as respirator, chemical suit, fire retardant gear, etc.
