Talbot County Public Schools Enrichment Program Facilitator in Easton, Maryland
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma, associate degree preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staffand parents in both oral and written form.
- Experience working with elementary aged students.
- Ability to work an extremely flexible schedule.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as theBoard may find appropriate and acceptable.
JOB GOAL:The facilitator works closely with the school principal, school manager, and Community School Program Manager to provide students with high-quality enrichment experiences.
REPORTS TO:School Manager, Principal, or Assistant Principal
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- With support from the Community School Manager and School Manager, provide oversight to the day-to-day operations of the before and after school enrichment program
- Assist Community School Program Manager to develop and refine structures of the programs based on the strategic initiatives of the school and students needs and interests
- Build relationships with the school, families, and community stakeholders to build and support participation in available programs and expand opportunities
- Monitor transportation radio to ensure all students arrive home safely each evening
- Accurately document attendance and emergency information on each child
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a diverse workplace through ideas and experience
- Communicate regularly with school staff and families
- Supports Community School programming and needs
- Performs other duties as assigned
