Emerson Accounts Receivable Supervisor in Eden Prairie, Minnesota
If you are a Finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Eden Prairie, MN location, our Accounts Receivable shared service team manages Accounts Receivable for 36 Emerson businesses based in the US and Canada. You will be assigned select businesses and be responsible for leading all aspects of the collection activity of a multi-million-dollar Accounts Receivable portfolio.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Managing a team
Be responsible for goal setting and performance management
Direct work in a way to ensure on time payment of open A/R, minimize past due A/R and improve overall DSO performance
Interact with high level management staff at assigned businesses
Lead regular meetings with staff and assigned businesses on performance related objectives
Raise awareness to management and leadership of issues impacting overall A/R performance
Exercise significant independent judgment and discretion in making decisions that will have significant impact on internal/external customers
Mentor and aid your team in their professional development
Conduct periodic site visits to review performance with business leadership
Participate in and is responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements used by management and executive leadership

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Four years of Accounts Receivable related experience
Two years of supervisory experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Periodic travel may be required at the discretion of Manager
Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
