What You Will Be Doing The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. How You Will Get the Job Done * HR Business Partner: Conduct regular meetings with people leaders. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and procedures. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Provide HR policy or procedure guidance and interpretation. * Employee Relations and Engagement: Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Partner with and provide support to people leaders on a variety of team and employee topics. * Performance Management: Identify issues, patterns, and trends to proactively provide insights to continuously improve business performance and/or talent solutions. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Support people leaders in effective succession planning to support business growth. Develop and support performance improvement initiatives and well as driving identification and management of forward-looking promotions. Understand, translate, and execute the practices of performance management and improvement, challenging, coaching, and supporting business leaders so they may in turn hold their team members accountable for their own performance. * Talent Acquisition and Talent Management: Supports the Bank's Talent Acquisition efforts. Effectively liaise with leadership and management and the HR team through the talent acquisition, onboarding, and orientation processes. Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers according to the Bank's compensation philosophy and guides more junior HR staff in the same. Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Identify training needs for business units. Effectively liaise with HR leader and HR team to ensure consistent processes and best practices are followed. * Base Salary Administration: Ensure integrity of the Bank's compensation strategy. Conduct annual market study, lead data collection efforts and complete salary surveys. Maintain compensation data, pay grades, market pricing, and job matrix. * Learning & Development: Partner with management to support training and development activities for employees and teams that are aligned with the Bank's learning and development strategy. Provides ongoing coaching associated with employee and leadership development, including career planning at various levels across the organization. Professional & Educational Experience You Bring: A two or four-year degree in Human Resources Management or related field and a minimum of 5 years of HR Experience with at least 2 years of HR Business Partner or HR Consulting experience. Demonstrated success partnering with senior level business clients and experience in developing and implementing change initiatives with a solid track record for delivering results. Experience with Employee Relations and Total Rewards.
