DuPont’s Water & Protection is recruiting for Maintenance Technician(s) to join its dynamic team located at its manufacturing site in Minneapolis, MN. We are looking for people who have a passion for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that meet our customer needs for a better, healthier, safer life. Water & Protection is a leading provider of engineered products and integrated systems for the construction, worker safety, energy, oil & gas, transportation, water purification and medical markets.
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance activities on the sites' manufacturing and process equipment. Daily tasks include performing maintenance in the areas of fluid power, pneumatics, PLC's, mechanical and electrical systems and working with scheduling and planning software. Technicians coordinate troubleshooting efforts and strive to implement improvements with operations and engineers as needed to assure the day to day site operation.
2nd Shift Hours are 2:30 pm - 11 pm M-F.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

Be able to utilize computer software programs to troubleshoot• Be able to operate a mechanical lift
Be punctual and demonstrate reliable attendance
Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required; a 2-year technical/vocational degree in a related field is strongly preferred
A minimum of two (2) years professional maintenance work (electronics, maintenance, computers, aerial/air craft); OR completion of technical/certification; OR relevant military experience
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend documents in English is required
A valid U.S. driver’s license is required
Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include; wearing safety equipment, such as earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, hardhats, hairnets, and steel-toed shoes are required
While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to stand; walk (up and down stairs); twist; bend; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb for extended periods of time; and will require the ability to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds is required
Ability to participate as an on-call resource for an average of 5 weeks a year to support 24/7 operations is required
This role is located in Minneapolis, MN and may require less than 5% of travel
