About this Unit:
Are you seeking the opportunity to gain experience on multiple units? If so, then our Float Pool team is right for you! As a Medical Surgical Float Pool RN you will float to the Orthopedic, Medical/tele unit, Observation, Surgical and Oncology unit.
This position is 72 hours every two weeks on the night shift, 12 hour shifts (7PM-7:30AM) with every third weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The RN role offers an additional $2.00/hour for being in the Float Pool.
Responsibilities Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
MN RN License
BLS for Health Care Providers
Excellent customer service and communication.
Ability to problem solve effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN
Recent within one-year med/surg RN experience
