About the Team:

Operating at the crossroads of business and technology, the Aladdin Product Management team works alongside developers, designers, and diverse team members to build innovative products that efficiently solve our user needs. We are passionate about using technology to address our clients the toughest problems!

As a Product Manager on the Portfolio Management team, you have the opportunity to work with a user base of 1,000+ portfolio managers to understand our user needs, craft our product vision, and drive the day-to-day execution of the roadmap.

About the role:

  • Nurture the product development lifecycle and apply standard agile practices to reliably deliver product solutions.

  • Diligently lead the product backlog and collaborate with UX, Engineering, QA, and Product Marketing to resolve the best approach for successful implementation.

  • Exhibit a high level of emotional ownership for our users and the problems our product strives to solve for them.

  • Deeply understand Aladdin's Portfolio Management product domain, portfolio management personas, and how it fits into the wider Aladdin ecosystem.

  • Lead with a data-driven attitude that tracks and measures usage metrics to advise product and deployment strategy.

  • Proactively communicate progress and updates to business partners such as clients, relationship managers, and sales teams.

  • Actively challenge yourself to learn and grow by taking on opportunities outside of your day-to-day responsibilities to enable the best product outcomes.

About you:

  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a customer-facing role.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present sophisticated information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical partners.

  • Proficiency working with cross-functional teams of developers, designers, QA, marketing and business development preferred.

  • Well-organized with the ability to lead several opposing priorities while retaining an acute attention to detail

  • Passionate about outstanding products and demonstrating emotional ownership.

  • Enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity and sophisticated environment, troubleshooting time-critical issues and working on a large team.

  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and using your entrepreneurial spirit to build new solutions.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
