Responsibilities
Manager, Regional Team Member Relations
As a Manager in Regional Team Member Relations, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and administering a center of excellence strategy that aligns with organizational goals. In this role, you will ensure that HR operations partners and business leaders across your region have the tools, resources, and counsel to effectively manage employee relations challenges. You’ll oversee increasingly complex issues, providing guidance, managing risk, and ensuring resolution. This role will support Corporate, Homecare, Joint Ventures and Physician Enterprise, Urgent Care.
Location: Hybrid (onsite throughout Hackensack Meridian Health Network locations as needed).
Ideal Candidate: A leader with a proven track record in managing complex investigations within the healthcare industry, particularly in physician relations, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Regional Team Member Relations Specialist
As a Regional Team Member Relations Specialist, you will serve as the subject matter expert in employee relations for your designated area. Partnering with our HR Operations team, you’ll play a critical role in the execution, administration, and delivery of team member relations services, including conducting investigations, managing corrective actions, conflict resolution, climate assessments, and ensuring compliance with established programs.
Location: Onsite at Hackensack University Medical Center, with hybrid flexibility for remote work.
Ideal Candidate: A seasoned professional with experience conducting high-volume employee relations investigations in complex areas, including harassment, workplace violence, discrimination, retaliation, and misconduct.
Regional Labor Relations Specialist
The Regional Labor Relations Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s labor relations strategy, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements, and offering expert advice to leaders across the organization. You will collaborate closely with HR Operations to interpret, administer, and maintain collective bargaining agreements while driving initiatives aligned with our broader organizational objectives.
Location: Hybrid (onsite throughout Hackensack Meridian Health Network locations as needed).
Ideal Candidate: A professional with expertise in labor relations, collective bargaining, and union negotiations, who is dedicated to providing high-level support and contributing to a positive labor relations experience.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in employee relations or labor relations and experience conducting complex investigations.
Working knowledge of US Federal and State Employment laws including, but not limited to, Title VII, ADEA, and FLSA.
Sound critical thinking, problem-solving and negotiating skills, with the ability to apply those skills to a wide range of HR issues.
Strong analytic skills and ability to present data to identify trends and offer strategic advice.
Excellent communicator with ability to present information in a clear and concise manner orally and in writing to ensure others understand ideas. Able to appropriately adapt message, style, and tone to accommodate a variety of audiences.
Objective, approachable, and able to interact effectively with all levels of employees both in person and virtually in a positive and respectful manner.
Able to maintain the highest level of personal integrity and confidentiality.
Adaptable and flexible, and motivated to drive results in a fast-paced environment where change is a constant, and can meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability.
Proficient with either MS Office or Google productivity tools.
Able to develop processes and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Able to support rollout of a proactive TM and labor relations strategy focused on building leadership skills to promote TM engagement.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Labor/Employee Relations, or Business.
Bilingual or multilingual verbal communication skills.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
- HR Certification.
