Robert Half Temporary - Administrator in Edison, New Jersey

Description We are offering a role in the detail oriented Associations industry, located in Edison, New Jersey, United States. The position focuses on administrative tasks and will require a high level of organization, attention to detail, and proficiency in credit management tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a support staff, providing assistance to the executive office, including high-level trend analysis and reporting. • Undertake administrative duties for the executive committee and selected members of the administrative committee. • Develop recommendations regarding best practices for program areas based on collaboration with other staff members and volunteers. • Assist in logistics and meeting planning for membership events. • Generate membership reports for marketing campaigns and coordinate distribution of welcome letters to new society members. • Monitor and analyze expenses against the travel policy and provide input into the annual budgeting process. • Manage the society-level awards program, including the nominations process and liaising with necessary staff. • Provide administrative support for the evaluation and nomination process of the Fellows. • Set up purchase orders and ensure expeditious expense reimbursement requests. • Perform data gathering, analysis, and issue resolution in support of additional core society business functions as needed.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word • Experience in Customer Service and Data Entry • Ability to handle Email Correspondence and Schedule Appointments • Proficiency in Answering Inbound Calls and handling Inbound Outbound Calls Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Experience in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and promptly

• Capability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively

• Experience working in a detail oriented association or similar environment is preferable

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of discretion and judgement

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
