Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Alberta, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand Xerox's market presence in Alberta

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet client needs

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics

  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to management

  • Represent Xerox at industry events, trade shows, and conferences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the technology or document management industry

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and consultative selling techniques

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Alberta

  • Knowledge of the Alberta business landscape and key industries

  • Experience with digital transformation and managed print services
