ASRC Federal Space & Defense (AS&D) is seeking a Instrumentation Engineer at the Air Force Research Lab, Edwards AFB, CA.
Requirements
Ensures there is a comprehensive training plan for Instrumentation Data Systems for all areas.
Design, implement, recommend, maintain, and improve components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Direct and coordinate specific tasks on construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
May provide work leadership and training to lower level professional and technical staff.

This position is offering a pay range of $149,500 - $252,000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. Requirements :
Experience training personnel in Instrumentation controls and theory.
Control Systems Theory, Application and Operator Interfacing (Real-Time Discrete Data and Closed-Loop Dynamic Control Systems; Frequency Domain Analysis and Modeling, Performance and Stability Analysis; Electro/Pneumatic Positioning and Thrust Vector Controls.
Embedded Real-Time Industrial Controller and HMI Interface development (multi-site, individual (Not Networked around sites) Server-based Allen-Bradley Facility Control Program development.
Basic Computer Programing skills (Visual Basic VB6, VB.NET, LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, Ladder Logic
Understanding of Basic Power Systems. Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes, Back-up Power Systems, Power Grounding and Shielding.
High-Power Cryogenic Pump/Vaporization systems.
Some Lightening Protection systems.
Education/Experience/Clearance requirements:
Requires Bachelor's degree and ten to twelve years of related experience.
Requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
