The Challenge + Position
In this role you act as a lead assembler of the accelerator group. You are responsible for the introduction and training of new employees, you are the bridge between production, engineering and R&D to solve issues as quickly as possible, you are responsible to maintain and improve the clean working method and you join the monthly external 5s audit and act when needed to improve the 5s score. In this role you also work closely together with the supervisor to help with the daily planning and to lead the daily whiteboard meetings when needed. We are open to candidates with experience in similar positions and recent graduates who want to make their first career move. You must be driven by technical challenges of both mechanically and electrically and enjoy working in a cleanroom environment. The accelerators have a lead time of 4 – 5 weeks to assemble and test before going to the system.
Specific responsibilities are:
Performs work based on work instructions
Testing and troubleshooting of various modules
Working on continuous improvements of products and related processes
Active participation in daily whiteboard meeting
Working with high vacuum and high tension
The Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
Technical education (MBO) with at least 2 years of work experience, preferably mechanical and/or electronics (mechatronic)
Good communication skills in both Dutch and English
Experience with working in a cleanroom
Experience with high vacuum
Experience with electronic measuring equipment
Experience with Windows and other pc based software installations

This is a full-time position (40 hours). Working part-time is an option in case you’re available for at least 32 hours.
