Overview:
PCSI is looking for a Grounds Maintenance at El Paso Border Patrol! A Grounds Maintenance will perform a variety of grounds maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to support assigned contract. This position will report to the project manager and is based at El Paso, Texas. Typical work hours will be from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

What you'll do as a Grounds Maintenace:
• Perform a variety of grounds maintenance functions in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled craft trades to support assigned contract.
• Assist in the planning, layout and completion of modifications and repairs.
• Assist in the accomplishment of minor grounds maintenance tasks which must be performed to proficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of grounds equipment.

What you'll need to Be Successful:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of (1) year of prior experience in grounds keeping or landscaping preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Ability to climb, bend, squat, lift and carry objects ranging from 10-60 pounds; Occasionally push objects up to 100 pounds; prolong walking up to 90%.
• Knowledge of methods used in grounds keeping, including use of all types of lawn equipment.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Ability to demonstrate accuracy and speed in work performed.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete incoming work orders.
• Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures and regulations as needed.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in written format.
• Ability to work as a team member and develop effective working relationships with other staff and clients.
Other Requirements:
• Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
• Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
• Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
• If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
