Summary:

We are looking for a team player to provide administrative and clerical support to help maintain an efficient office environment. This position requires attention to detail and great communication skills.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate office machinery including photocopier, ten-key adding machine, telephone, and computer.

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping.

  • Ability to file documents both alphabetically and numerically.

Working Conditions:

  • This position operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods.

  • Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, filing cabinets

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

  • Answer telephones, route calls, and take messages as needed.

  • Open and distribute mail.

  • Prepare outgoing mail.

  • File records (both paper and electronic) in the appropriate files.

  • Handle sales registers and cash receipts.

  • Research credit memos.

  • Control record retention.
