The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.
What you will do in this role:
- EDUCATION REQUIRED ADN PREFERRED : BSN or MSN LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: ( Certifications must be kept current)RN licensure in Texas or compact state. BCLS PREFERRED: ACLSNational Certification EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two years clinical experience in Medical-Surgical nursing PREFERRED: One year of management experienceAcute Care experience SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Ability to develop a staff schedule,Critical thinking ability,Copes effectively with crisis and emergency situations,Communicates clearly and concisely.Encourages team-building efforts. Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partner’s needs.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
