Axientis seeking a talented Configuration/Data Management Specialist to join our team in execution of an effective and comprehensive Data/Configuration Management program for the US Space Force's Launch Enterprise at the Los Angeles Air Force base in El Segundo, California.
Axient's Launch and Safety Business Unit is recruiting highly talented candidates to support a contract that provides “cradle to grave” support to the United States Space Force's Space Systems Command (SSC) Launch Systems Enterprise Directorate’s – National Security Space Launch (NSSL) program.
What you will do...
We assist the Space Force by supporting a multitude of areas, including Systems Engineering & Integration, Acquisition & Program Management Support, Mission Integration Management, System Safety & Environmental Engineering, Systems Security & Information Assurance, Launch Schedule and Risk Management, Certification of New Entrant Launch Vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Baseline control documentation under supervision of the Data/Configuration Management Lead
Evaluates and selects data/configuration management tools and standards
Execute effective and timely Configuration/Data Board processes
Preparation of Configuration/Data Board agendas and capturing action items and board minutes
Prepares Configuration/Data management plans and procedures
Execute status accounting
Operates and manages program support library
Skills you will need...
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in STEM field and 10 years of engineering experience, including at least 4 years of experience in Configuration/Data control and Configuration/Data management
Must have an active and transferrable DoD Secret security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance
Proficiency with MS Office products to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DoD requirements for data/configuration management .
TS/SCI clearance
