Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our F-35 Global Supply Chain Program Management organization . This leadership role is onsite and located in El Segundo, California.

In this role you will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of the GSC statement of work for the Fleet Readiness & Sustainment (FR&S) operating unit across all functional homeroom teams. You will support driving supplier delivery performance, set budget and execution targets, and manage contract performance in support of achieving program financial goals. A successful candidate will be ready to lead multi-disciplined teams in a variety of complex tasks while also developing process improvements and creating the tools necessary for exceptional performance.
Job Description:
Own the Supply Chain Program execution of the Support Equipment portfolio
Serve as the primary focal point to the Program Management Office relative to Support Equipment discussions
Actively lead/participate with the strategy, planning, proposal generation, and execution of all material and services content associated with sustainment contracts
Collaborate with the entire supply chain and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure that all F-35 Program objectives are met
Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers
Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)
Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies
Leads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution
Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.
Participation in identifying and/or leading affordability projects specific to sustainment material
Functional management responsibility to lead, manage, develop, and grow future talent
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Project Management OR a Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Project Management OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 9 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Project Management
Must have 2 years of experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
Must have Supply Chain experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or Bachelor's degree
CAM experience
SAP experience
Subcontracts and/or procurement experience
Earned value management certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
Ability to take ownership and makes decisions based on the customer and overall business needs
Acts with speed and understands the need to act with a sense of urgency to meet the needs of the business and stakeholders
Salary Range: $142,200 - $213,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
