About the role:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for strategic support on enhancing financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting. This position will play a key role in maintaining our rolling forecast for trade expense, while providing insight into promotional performance and tracking towards key performance indicators. Promotion ROI, variance, trend, and ratio analysis will be at the forefront to support Liquid I.V.’s business decisions and growth.

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Serve as a key business partner to Sales leaders, providing them with meaningful and insightful analysis to support their financial objectives.

  • Support the Sales Finance Team in building dynamic forecasts to model out scenarios.

  • Budget v Actual Variance Analysis and identifying key drivers of forecast deviation.

  • Empower sales leaders with the profitability impact of their decisions regarding channel mix, product mix, and promotion strategies.

  • Analyze and communicate the drivers of sales performance.

  • Partner with Accounting and Sales Plannings teams to support recognition of trade funding.

  • Support the adoption of TPM software to further drive forecast accuracy and provide pre/ post promotion analysis.

  • Special projects and ad hoc reporting as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or similar field.

  • 4-6+ years of experience in financial analysis and data management.

  • Prior CPG experience is preferred.

  • Experience communicating financial concepts clearly, to both financial and non-financial audiences. Ability to speak and write concisely and effectively.

  • Demonstrate initiative by finding opportunities for improvement and driving change.

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are key personal attributes.

  • The successful candidate will have a reputation for integrity, initiative, perseverance, success, and confidentiality.

  • Must be adaptable and comfortable with shifts in responsibilities and expectations to meet the changing demands of a quickly growing and dynamic business.

  • Must be able to meet deadlines, and to prioritize tasks in a highly dynamic environment.

  • This person should be comfortable interacting with varying levels of the organization and across different functional groups.

  • High level of proficiency with Excel, Pivot tables, Xlookup, Macros, etc.

  • Familiarity with Modus Planning is a plus.

The expected salary range for this position is $86,100 - $129,100 annually and is bonus eligible. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
