Insight Global Park Maintenance Worker in Elk Grove, California
Job Description
-Perform grounds maintenance duties in landscaped and wildland areas.
-Perform irrigation system installation, repairs, and troubleshooting.
-Perform pruning and brush clearing activities.
-Operate power tools and equipment, including blowers, string trimmers, chainsaws, and mowers.
-Operate ag tractors and attachments.
-Operate ATVs/UTVs and attachments.
-Perform general grounds maintenance duties such as trash removal and minor repairs of facilities.
-Weed, cultivate, plant, fertilize, irrigate, and spray ornamental and wildland habitat plantings.
-Clear and maintain water control structures and channels.
-Perform basic carpentry.
-Instruct temporary help to accomplish assigned tasks.
-Clean and organize District facilities.
-Perform light maintenance on power equipment and vehicles.
-Transport, load, and unload supplies, equipment, and machinery.
Compensation: $22.00/hr to $26.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
